Operation Iraqi Freedom Campaign Medal

To Qualify: Applicant must be a veteran or a member of the military or military reserve, who deployed to Iraq in direct support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Applicants must provide a copy of their DD214, medal certification, or written proof from the National Personnel Records Center indicating that they have received the Operation Iraqi Freedom Campaign Medal.

Operation Enduring Freedom Campaign Medal

To Qualify: Applicant must be a veteran or a member of the military or military reserve, who deployed to Afghanistan in direct support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Applicants must provide a copy of their DD214, medal certification, or written proof from the National Personnel Records Center indicating that they have received the Operation Enduring Freedom Campaign Medal.

 

 

Kosovo Campaign Medal

To Qualify: Applicant must be a veteran or a member of the military or military reserve, who participated in or served in direct support of the Kosovo Campaign. Applicants must provide a copy of their DD214, medal certification, or written proof from the National Personnel Records Center indicating that they have received the Kosovo Campaign Medal.

Legion of Merit

To Qualify: The Legion of Merit is awarded to all members of the Armed Forces of the United States without reference to degree for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements. The Legion of Merit is one of only three United States decorations to be issued as a neck order. The Legion of Merit is sixth in the order of precedence of U.S. military decorations, and is worn after the Defense Superior Service Medal and before the Distinguished Flying Cross. Applicants must provide a copy of their DD214, medal certification, or written proof from the National Personnel Records Center indicating that they have received the Legion of Merit.

Combat Action Ribbon

The Combat Action Ribbon is awarded to Navy and Marine Corps members who
served in ground combat.

To Qualify: Applicants must provide a copy of their DD214, medal certification, or written proof from the National Personnel Records Center indicating that they have received the Combat Action Ribbon.

Combat Action Badge

MVA offers the Combat Infantry Badge, but does not offer the equivalent Combat Action Badge for non-infantry soldiers.
