The Major General Boyd M. Cook Veterans Memorial Foundation, Inc.
The Major General Boyd M. Cook Veterans Memorial Foundation, Inc., was founded to assist veterans in need. Since we saw a need in 2007, we have been helping U.S. veterans by paying for major un-forecasted repair of cars, funding a wounded soldier in a Texas burn center to come home for the holidays, fixing blown down gutters, arranging for no-cost child care and paying for a funeral of a deployed guardsman’s mother who passed with no insurance. We have provided financial assistance and assistance with counseling.
The mission of The Major General Boyd M. Cook Veterans Memorial Foundation, Inc., is to identify U. S. Armed Forces active duty and reserve component veterans and their families in need of assistance not available from the Department of Defense or the Veterans Administration. Validate their need for assistance and serve as a "clearing house", coordinating assistance with federal, state and local community organizations. Priority is given to those called to engage in armed conflict since 2001.
